In
2005 while attending The Art Institute of Charlotte, I decided to start
my own handbag label.It sounded
somewhat far-fetched to many, but I was determined to make my vision
come to light any way I could.I spent
many nights awake working and watching the sun come up making my dream become a
reality.I entered the work force after
graduation but never removed my love for fashion and entrepreneurship from the
forefront of my thoughts and goals.
In
less than two months from now my label Cristina Bijou bags will be carried in
select Belk department stores nationwide.It’s been a long road and things definitely weren’t always easy.I’d like to share my experiences over the
years in hopes that it may help someone who is where I was years ago, not sleeping
at night because I was constantly thinking of a way to make my dreams
come true in the cut throat world of fashion.
